Lost Unicorn

Howdy from Lost Unicorn, Second Life!

Lost Unicorn is a magical elven realm perfect for exploring and taking pictures! We were spellbound by the tiny details that make this such an enchanting place. Look at this giant entrance arch inviting us to begin our journey!

Isn’t this just the perfect place for an autumn portrait?

Lami found some fairies by the fountain, and Zip tried hard to catch one. It took a long time, but she finally did it! Unfortunately, it bit her and flew away. Zip’s assessment: fairies are rude.

One of the best things about Lost Unicorn is that you can rez if you join the group. This lets you fully express your creativity and add special, unique touches that will make your memories perfect. Don’t forget to pick up when you leave! There’s no auto-return, so you don’t want your stuff to wind up in the lost and found when the owner finds out you’ve littered. We may be a couple of pains in the butt, but we do try to clean up after ourselves.

OMG, we have a sponsor today! Someone actually wants us to use their stuff! We’re kind of extra excited and feeling a little more than giddy about it! Welcome Elemenopee to our creative project!

Rustic California

Greetings from Rustic California!

We found a few deer grazing in the woods shortly from the landing point. Of course, if it’s an animal, zip’s got to ride it, so we hopped on and went on a fine 30-minute escapade to absolutely nowhere. Apparently, they are deer statues and don’t even move. They are great for a picture!

Lami is so cute when she flops over like that. Do you ever wonder when her tooth will grow in?

Her laughter could be heard echoing through the woods when she spied her sister just a few feet away…

These deer statues had booties. hee hee!

There is a really great cabin overlooking a lake, and there are pretty birbs enjoying the view! Mama wouldn’t let us eat one, but that didn’t keep us from trying.

Finally, we capped off the day with a snuggle at a rock show by Mr. Animesh, who was a GREAT singer, and we recommend it because he works for free and asks that you tip the sim!

So in conclusion, Rustic California is a public place with cozy forest vibes, perfect for an overnight cabin stay or just an afternoon exploration! They have horses you can ride and lots of little nooks and crannies with activities and photo opportunities.

This post is not sponsored, and we’ll happily provide info on our outfits upon request.

Bubble Camp!

The week of 8/18 to 8/26/2023 was quite possibly the best week of our lives: our first time at Summer Camp! Our mama talked us into going to Camp Bubble and we couldn’t be more excited to make new friends and memories.

Since there were dozens upon dozens of kids at camp, we were all self-sorted into cabins. We chose the Owls cabin with the above-pictured camper friends: Karin, Lesly, Poppy, Jenni, and more! Miss Diddja grouped us up for this amazing photo.

On our first day of camp, it took hours and hours for everyone to get shuttled in on the bus and ferry, attend opening ceremonies, and then sort into our cabins. Then we had the fun (and exhausting) task of setting up our bunks! Here is a picture of a very tired Lami and me resting after the very long day.

One of our first camp activities was to go cave exploring! We joined an exploring group and we all wrote our names on the wall to show we were there.

Our cave exploring group just after we exited the cave. Whew! After we got lost, I wasn’t sure we’d ever make it out!

Another camp activity was a seashell hunt on the beach. Lami and I tried really hard to find all the seashells and it was really hard! Sissy managed to locate one in this bucket, so I helped her reach in to get it.

Camp also had a really cool petting zoo with lots of animals! Lami and I spent a little extra time with this goat, who was way more interested in eating than he was with me climbing on his back and riding him around like a pony.

Later in the week, there was a formal dance and we got to dress up in our finest gowns and have ice cream while a real live singer came to entertain us! I tried not to get any on my dress, but that was a lost cause. Oh well. WORTH IT!!!

All in all we had a fantastic time and we can’t wait for the next CARE event! We’re hooked!

Short Passport Stops, vol. 1

Today, Lami and I found the World’s Largest Hermit Crab (and her 2,964,346,903 babies) at Springhurst Gulf. This little island had a comfy bench for us to sit on after a quick boat ride from the continent. It’s so bright outside and I forgot my sunglasses!

Next we moved on to the Three Meter Monument which we think might be related to the Three Mile Island nuclear incident, even though there are 4 cooling towers at Three Mile Island instead of 3. That’s right, we’re toddlers who can count to THIS MANY!! Maybe the original artist wants us to think about this more abstractly, like, maybe the 4th cooling tower is you.

How do we measure up to the three meter cooling towers? They don’t seem to be 1 meter tall, or 3 meters tall, but we’re little and even if we can count to three, we haven’t gotten to the metric system in class yet.

Next we took our doggos to the Verdant Falls Dog Park, where you can not only rez your pet for 15 minutes, you can play with them on a great playground too! Here in this picture I’m trying to get Bongwater to jump through the hoop by enticing him with bacon. Skippy is giving Lami a boost so she can help!

Then we went to the nearby Verdant Falls Community Center which actually has a pretty rad playground in the back for the kids! They are rumored to also have 7seas fishing in the fountain but we didn’t try it today.

At the Eiscomic Gallery, we had a bit of an incident where a killer tomato ate Zip just a tiny bit. Ok it actually ate like half of her. But Lami avenged her and beat the snot out of that stupid fruit.

Don’t worry, Mom, we’re totally safe at this blogging gig. Swear!
